Our Eagle Scouts

Troop 236 is proud to be the home of over 230 Eagle Scouts since its establishment in 1961, with 5-10 Scouts or more than half of each annual cohort Eagling each year. The road to Eagle requires outstanding leadership, countless hours of community service, completion of 21 merit badges and participation in a wide range of Troop camping, hiking, backpacking and other activities. Our Troop actively supports Scouts seeking to achieve Eagle Rank with plenty of opportunities and mentorship to make it to that finish line. Given that only 4% of BSA Scouts nationally achieve the coveted Eagle rank, Troop 236 couldn’t be more proud of the high number of our Scouts that have demonstrated enormous dedication and done the hard work to receive this rank and honor.
